How to overcome decision fatigue.
As a busy doctor and a coach, I've dealt with decision fatigue a lot, especially when I was burnt out as a newly qualified junior doctor. Decision fatigue comes up when you're stressed, working long hours and tired from making too many decisions in a day. In this video, I share some ideas for you to beat decision fatigue and use habits and routines to make your life easier.     Great video, very well articulated, thank you! I'll try a few of your tips - currently even the thought of writing down my (mostly work-related) tasks fills me with so much anxiety, I feel like avoidance and freeze mode have been dominating my days for so long. I'll try resetting and some self-care to get out of this crippling mindset.

    If something is not happening just move on. Don't struggle. Just move on. (Be flexible. It's your best friend). It doesn't have to happen right now. Don't be adamant & stuck on things. (getting angry) Be flexible and move on. Keep the flow going. x

    This is great! As a primary school teacher I’m not making life or death decisions but apparently we make 6 decisions every minute we are teaching so I totally relate to the decision fatigue! I will definitely use some of your suggestions ❤

    Thanks, self-care is more than putting on a face mask or writing in a journal with a calligraphy pen. For those of us who are exhausted, we need much more than some fancy label clothing to cheer us up.
